Plans for the redevelopment of Corsham Media Park will be shown to the public at an exhibition in Corsham town hall today.
The meeting has been advertised to 6,000 homes in Corsham, Rudloe and Box to try to gain a picture of what the public think about the proposed development.
The town hall will be opening its doors to anyone interested in the plans today between 4pm and 8pm and at the same time tomorrow, as well as 10am-5pm on Saturday.
Although plans have not yet been submitted to North Wiltshire District Council, the applicants, Kenmore Property Group, will outline to the public plans for a 650,000 square foot redevelopment.
The 30-acre site, which is in Westwells Road, opposite the entrance to Basil Hill Barracks, is currently used as a media studio and equipment centre.
The new plans include office space and data centres for use by companies who need to store highly secure information in a discreet location.
A spokesperson for the developers said: "What is proposed for the site is led by the heritage and history of the site. It comes fairly close on the back of the Basil Hill application and the two are intrinsically linked.
"Only half of it will be employment based, which will calm fears about increased traffic.
"This exhibition is in order for the general public to see what the plans are and for us to see what the feedback is."
The developers are in talks with companies who will take on the site, once it is finished, to store and look after highly secure information.
The types of companies who would be interested in such a site are thought to be banks and government agencies.
The office space will create between 1,000 and 1,500 jobs.
The proposed development site will be re-branded as Spring Park, to reflect its background.
It was formerly known as Spring Quarry, and was used as MoD stores until its closure in 1995.
Representatives from Kenmore will be at the exhibition to answer any questions.
