Teachers from Wiltshire have jetted off to China to forge educational links and learn about the country.
A party left on Tuesday on a ten day trip to Nanhai, north west of Hong Kong, to develop educational and cultural links.
This will help the introduction of Mandarin Chinese into more county schools. Currently it is being taught in after school and evening classes.
The party is made up of Margaret Dobie of John Bentley School, Calne, Cheryl Statton of Derry Hill Primary, Steve Parsons of Malmesbury School, Geoff Statton of Malmesbury Primary, Lynne Quantick of St John's School Marlborough and Caroline Wood St Peters Junior School, Marlborough.
Ms Dobie said: "We are very excited to be going to China."
