Staff at The Vine Tree in Norton are celebrating being crowned Britain's Wine Pub of the Year.
Charles Walker and Tiggi Wood, who run it, were told by the Good Pub Guide they had won the award for 2008.
Mr Walker said everyone at the Vine Tree was thrilled to have received such recognition.
"It is a great honour and achievement to be included in the guide in the first place," he said. "But to gain an award out of every pub across the country that sells wine is incredible.
"We are ever so pleased and it is a testament to the hard work of everyone here and to our suppliers as well.
"We try to have different grape varieties, from different countries, across varying price ranges, because it is important to suit everyone's palate and pocket as well."
The Vine Tree won the Dining Pub of the Year for Wiltshire and the Pub Restaurant of the Year for Great Britain in the 2006 guide.
The book is the UK's best-selling independent guide, featuring over 5,000 pubs, which gain their status through customer recommendations and anonymous inspections.
