AS it stands, changes need to be made.
By placing those that are falling short of targets on notice, we have the option of making changes to the roster if we choose.
The majority of the squad are performing as we want them to, but there are a couple who have not lived up to expectations.
We need our senior players to be consistent.
It also gives the players involved an opportunity to step up their game.
We suffered two defeats to Milton Keynes at the weekend and the 6-1 home defeat on Saturday was not good enough.
But I was pleased with the reaction of the players, even though we lost 2-1 at the Lightning. It was a much improved performance and it was good to see Ciaran Long get on the scoresheet.
We so nearly grabbed the equaliser and can be proud of our performance against, as I said last week, the best team in the country.
We host Peterborough on Saturday and then travel there on Sunday.
They haven't had the best of starts but have only played four times in the league and are below us.
League positions don't count for anything when you look at the stats, and Peterborough will be near the top of the table at the end.
