Barry Corr is set for a return to action this afternoon as his battle against a troublesome back injury finally looks to be at an end.
The Town striker is yet to make an appearance for the club, after making an initial loan spell permanent in the summer, but should feature for the reserves against Exeter at the County Ground today.
Having scored three goals in eight loan appearances last campaign, Corr is already a favourite among the home fans and will be looking to stamp his mark on the field again sooner rather than later.
He said about his injury nightmare: "I don't want the fans to forget about me. I've only been out for about four months but it feels like forever.
"I don't think they have seen the best of me yet because when I played last year I was always in pain.
"Hopefully when I get back I can show the fans exactly what I am all about. The gaffer and Dick Mackey have been brilliant with me.
"They want my career to last another nine years and not just another nine months."
Goalkeeper Peter Brezovan is also likely to be handed a starting slot, alongside midfielder Steve Adams and striker Blair Sturrock.
Town were back in training yesterday lunchtime after a weekend off and all focus is now on Saturday's return to League One action against Tranmere Rovers.
