CARE worker Elly Whiston leapt out of a plane at 13,000 feet in a bid to help buy a mini bus for pensioners.
Ms Whiston, 44, a senior carer at Kingston House residential home for the elderly at Derry Hill, raised £800 with the skydive to boost the home's fund to buy an £8,000 mini bus.
She said: "We went on a trip to Longleat and decided to hire a mini bus but it was so expensive.
"It makes so much more sense to have a mini bus for the home.
A lot of our residents have dementia so it means a lot to them."
