BURBAGE: Former post mistress Mary Powell, organised a sale and raffle at the village hall in support of the cancer charity Brighter Futures at Swindon’s Great Western Hospital that raised £500 on March 27.
Easter messed up

New homes plan
ALDBOURNE: Planners have received proposals from Mr E Eves of Calne to construct three new homes on land at the rear of 38 Lottage Road.
Brunel House
WOODBOROUGH: Mr and Mrs Reeder have asked planners for permission to extend Brunel House with a two storey and a single storey extension.
Annual meeting
AVEBURY: The Annual Village Meeting is at 7pm on Tuesday, April 16, at the Social Centre. All welcome. Doors open 6.30pm for refreshments.
Sound tickets
MARLBOROUGH: Singer Jade Bird will be at Café Thirty8 on Saturday, April 20., and signing copies of her album at Sound Knowledge.
