MARLBOROUGH'S new theatre company has appealed for the loan of two iron bedsteads and a 1950s gas stove for their upcoming production of a play by Harold Pinter.
Foolhardy Productions was formed specifically to mount a production of Pinter's The Caretaker in the Court Room at Marlborough Town Hall from November 6 to 9.
It is directed by David Sherratt, who produced the street theatre piece Wheels of Time for the Marlborough 2004 Charter celebrations.
Eric Partington is playing the title of role of Davies the tramp, with Howard Wilkinson and Harvey Fremlin as the two brothers he moves in with.
If anyone can help Mr Sherratt with the props he requires, they should phone him on (01672) 512159.
Tickets for the show are on sale at the White Horse Bookshop.
