Scarecrows ahead
CHRISTIAN Malford: The annual Scarecrow Trail runs on the weekend of March 30-31 in the village with a theme of Musicals. The trail is open 10am-5pm both days,maps £3 from the Rec, plus refreshments and raffle.
Coffee and crafts
CHIPPENHAM: On Tuesday, there is a coffee morning at Poplar College on Cocklebury Road, with coffee, soft drinks and lots of cake from 10.30-11.30am. Mother’s Day and Easter crafts will also be on sale.

CHIPPENHAM: Planning permission for alterations, demolitions and extensions including detached garage and building of two homes
at Sedgewick Old Hardenhuish Lane have been requested by Mr K Fortune.
Road closure
MALMESBURY: The A429 Burton Hill will be closed on March 28-29,from 9.30am to 3.30pm for road resurfacing and associated maintenance works.
