THE Chippenham Beer and Cider Festival will soon be upon us, and now in its 28th year, the volunteer- organised event is supporting St John's Ambulance and Prostate Cancer UK.
The festival at the Olympiad is April 26-27, offering a chance to experience a wide range of beers from hoppy, golden American Pales to dark, traditional bitters, and tasty stouts and porters, as well as great range of ciders and perries including an increased range of fruity ciders.
Food will be served, with music from People Like Us on Saturday night.
The event is organised by members of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale). Visit nwwiltscamra.org.uk and Facebook page or twitter @ChippBeerFest for updates. Tickets are available from the Three Crowns, on the Causeway or the Prince of Wales micropub on Station Hill.
