CRIMINALS who attacked an ATM machine in Pewsey have pleaded guilty - but not to the one in the Wiltshire village.
At the parish council meeting on Tuesday evening councillors heard that a gang from the West Midlands had pleaded guilty to a string of thefts from ATM machines.
Their mode of operation said officers was the same as the one in August at the Co-operative store in the village but unfortunately there was not enough evidence to pin the crime on the foursome.
The criminals were in custody and were awaiting sentencing which was expected to include a "lengthy" spell in prison.
