RECEPTION children have a new play area at Holy Trinity School in Calne complete with a race track and a hide and climb shelter.
The new play equipment, which was installed during the summer holidays, was part-funded by the National Lottery Fund which gave £10,000, £1,000 from the Tesco Bags of Help scheme, £5,000 which was raised by the school’s friends group and £4,000 from the school’s sports premium.
Headteacher Graham Shore, said: “The children are being more physically active and are able to use different skills which has proved really brilliant. They were really excited and are really enjoying it. They can go down the slide and climb with their friends.”
