POSTERS drawn by pupils at Priestley Primary School in Calne are being proudly displayed on the hoardings at GreenSquare's development site next to the school.
In July, as part of the Considerate Constructors scheme, staff from GreenSquare joined the Scheme's mascots, Ivor and Honor Goodside, to give a presentation to pupils, looking at the potential dangers of construction sites and the importance of site safety.
Children were then asked to create a poster about what they learnt at the session, and some of these posters are now displayed on the hoardings at the Woodroffe Square site.
Daisy Mae, 7, one of the pupils whose posters are on display, said: "I'm happy that my pocture was chosen and I've already told some of my friends that it's up there."
GreenSquare are currently building nine flats and 15 houses at the site.
Ian Potts, GreenSquare Homes site manager at Woodroffe Square, said: "We were happy to be invited to Priestley Primary School to talk to the children about site safety, which we did so with the help of our special guests Ivor and Honor Goodsite.
"We had so many brilliant entries for our poster competition, it was tough to choose just a few to display on our hoardings. However, we are pleased to have some of them up here for passers-by to see, helping to promote site safety in the local community."
With the success of this site safety presentation, The team from GreenSquare Homes, including Honor and Ivor, are hoping to deliver these presentations in other schools in areas where GreenSquare has sites.
