FRUSTRATED captain Steve Silk has criticised his under performing Chippenham side after Saturday's lacklustre defeat.
They went down to a disappointing loss at title chasing Warminster on Saturday, leaving Silk to tell the players they let themselves down.
"Perhaps people have been thinking we are safe and are switching off," he said. "It is the first time this year I have been disappointed with the side. We can have bad games and not play well but this time we didn't turn up."
Fourteen-year-old Uzair Qureshi top scored with 28 as Silk (24) and Jace Lawson (23) threatened to post big totals.
Silk was particularly upset with his dismissal, saying: "I got a ball which was about waist height, took evasive action and was caught at gully.
"The Warminster players didn't celebrate which showed it wasn't out but the umpire gave it.
"He discussed it with the second umpire who said he didn't see, but I didn't get any benefit of the doubt."
With only 148 to defend Silk took 3-33 and Tom Davis (1-24) as Warminster coasted to victory.
Chippenham, who sit sixth, travel to third place Swindon on Saturday with James Vince available from Hampshire and Phil Adams back off holiday.
"Everyone is beating everyone and hopefully the talk we had will shake people up," said Silk.
