A FORMIDABLE partnership between Brad Dawson and Jack Haines secured a winning draw for Goatacre/Spye Park in the weekend's U13 Division Two match.
Batting first, the combined team set 228-1 for Devizes to chase thanks to century makers Dawson (102no) and Haines (100no).
In reply, George Dunford's unbeaten 86 helped Devizes to 160-4 in their alloted overs.
Elsewhere, Calne defeated Shrivenham by five wickets after being set 132-6 to chase.
Scott Winskill hit 55 runs while Ben Wickens (7-0-24-3) was the pick of the bowlers.
Jordan Butler (42), Wickens (22) and Chris Lower (29no) were the main contributors in the reply as Calne batted past the total for the loss of five wickets.
Swann (7-0-25-3) was Shrivenham's best bowler.
The match between Malmesbury and Westbury was cancelled, with both teams being awarded 10 points.
In the U13 Division One, Wootton Bassett won by one wicket against Cannings, who batted first and made 94 against the tight bowling of Akash Sharma (4-18) and Chris Brown (3-6).
Sharma was the main contributor with the bat, knocking off 35 runs in the reply of 95-9. Leo Dennis (3-13) was the pick of the Cannings bowlers.
South Wilts won by a massive 257 runs against Chippenham, who were bowled out for 40 runs after being set 298 to win.
South Wilts did not lose a wicket with the impressive James Haggaty hitting 115 before retiring to let Max Betteridge (43no) continue with opener Tom Cowley (97no).
Biddestone's match with Marshfield was cancelled.
