A NATURAL products and therapies shop opened its doors to Corsham this week, to end a frantic month of preparations.
Joanne Trickett, 42, opened her new shop Naturally Nature on Monday (May 23) despite only being handed the keys to the place in late-April.
However thanks to the support of her her husband Tim, her two children and friends and contacts, Mrs Trickett is raring to go for her new enterprise after completing the finishing touches to the shop this week.
"This is an incredibly exciting new venture for me. We put together natural products that complement the treatment I do. We have relied quite a lot on word of mouth and my family have been so helpful too," she said.
"I have wanted to do this for a quite a long time and it has been a bit of a work in progress. It has been hectic to say the least. I had everything ready apart from the shop's decor but it is great everything is sorted now."
From 1992-2008 Mrs Trickett worked as a nurse but developed a keen interest in complementary therapies, before progressing onto having her own treatment room in the town and teaching at the Bristol School of Holistic Therapies.
She added: "It has been a very positive experience and I have had a lot of support. Everything has been carefully researched so the products are completely natural and organic.
"If an opportunity like this comes along you have to take it. There is always an element of risk but you have to go for it and stay true to your convictions but you have to motivated and enthusiastic and I have that
