DEVIZES company Cardwave has chosen Julia’s House to benefit from its February charity donation.
This month, flash memory firm Cardwave’s £100 donation will be going to the children’s hospice charity in Dorset and Wiltshire.
The charity was chosen by office administrator, Sally Norbury, who said: “Julia’s House currently helps around 100 children with serious illnesses and their families across Dorset and south Wiltshire, and we are opening a hospice in Devizes in 2017. It’s a really valuable service, supporting people at such a vulnerable time.”
The children who are cared for by Julia’s House visit the hospice for play sessions, overnight stays or receive care from the Julia’s House community team - nurses and carers who travel the county - providing life-changing support for families in their own homes.
Each month a member of staff from the Cardwave team picks their chosen charity to receive the month charity donation. Last month the chosen charity was Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
