OLD school rocker Andy Scott from Sweet added a bit of glamour to the opening of a new Devizes business on Monday.
Glam rocker Mr Scott, who lives at All Cannings and is one of the founders of the Concert At The Kings, was on the Hopton Industrial Estate to support friend Elliott Perrigo for the opening of Devizes Fencing and Landscaping Supplies.
Mr Perrigo is field manager for the event which has raised £112,500 for cancer charities and village causes since it started in 2012. Mr Scott will appear at this year's concert on May 21 alongside Suzi Quatro.
The new fencing shop is run by Mr Perrigo and Dave Mouncher who joined forces a year ago to open a fencing and landscaping business doing work for private and commercial clients.
Mr Mouncher said: "We will be supplying all types of fencing to the public and trade alike along with gates, gate ironmongery, nails, screws, fixings and more at very competitive prices. We will also be able to offer a delivery service.
"We are very pleased Andy could do the formal opening and cutting of the ribbon. We are delighted to be opening the retail side of the business, selling good quality products to the trade and public. We will continue our other businesses erecting the fences along side this one offering the complete service . "
He said the new part of the business would not have been possible without support from family and suppliers.
