Devizes won the toss and batted but were 1 for 3 wickets after 2 overs.
Both sides were depleted by other sports and the Bank Holiday and played young sides but Barney Kenny and Joe Stevens hit the stumps three times.
Joe finished with figures of 3 for 5. James Steel was the other more successful bowler with 2 for 1 in 2 overs.
Nine players got a bowl as captain George Royle rang the changes. Devizes recovered from 18 for 4 to reach 53 but then 3 wickets fell quickly.
Dodds was the best Devizes batsman with 28 including 6 fours. The last 3 wickets also fell quickly including a second stumping for Royle and a run out.
After tea Malmesbury set off in pursuit of the 78 runs scored by Devizes, and Oliver Jones and James Gillespie were striking and stroking the ball well.
The initial 4 an over shot to 6 an over when the change bowlers were used. Oliver finished the match in a flurry of 5 fours in 2 overs, overtaking James in the process to finish with 42 not out, with James on 30 not out.
