Relatives of a murdered charity worker Denise Higgins, found dead with her throat cut in India, are preparing to fly out.
The 52-year-old from Chippenham had been living at a rented bungalow in Goa for six months.
A police spokesman in India said Mrs Higgins had been killed with a kitchen knife at her home.
The attack happened after an argument with an Indian man on Thursday, Indian police said. A man, named as Anand Kambli, 28, was later arrested.
The waiter is thought to have met Mrs Higgins, a widow originally from Oxfordshire, on a previous visit to Goa.
Officers were called to the bungalow the next day by a rickshaw driver who had gone to collect Mrs Higgins to take her shopping.
Mrs Higgins' family were due to fly to Goa to collect her body.
