B3108 Winsley Hill (lead cars’ arrival: 10.42am)
Spectators have been advised not to gather on the B3108 between the Wiltshire border and the left-hand bend on the railway bridge because of the lack of a footpath.
But just up the road, the pavement to the left on Winsley Hill has been recommended as a good spot to watch the riders.
Bradford on Avon (10.51am)
The B3108 coming into Bradford on Avon has paths on both sides of the road and is suggested as a good spot to catch the peloton racing by but there is no path on one side of the road near the Wine Street junction and a marshal will be preventing spectators from gathering at this point.
Spectators will be prevented from watching on certain sections of Masons Lane and also near the hatched ‘box’ section at the bottom of Market Street with police patrols likely to be supporting the marshals in both these areas.
The Town Bridge will be kept clear of spectators to allow those not watching to cross to continue with their working day. The bridge will be closed to pedestrians as the race crosses and parking will be also suspended on the railway bridge in St Margaret’s Street.
Spectators on Trowbridge Road can use the nearside, away from parked cars on the opposite side, one side of Widbrook Hill and good paths and verges on the A363 coming into Trowbridge make it another good spot to watch from, as is Cockhill and Bradford Road.
Trowbridge (10.57am)
No spectators will be allowed on County Way towards the Tesco Extra store. Marshals will turn people away.
A good location to watch the teams is on the grass verge past the Tesco turn-off on County Way as the road heads towards the Roundstone Street roundabout and further along the route on the A361 Hilperton Road.
There will be a fan zone in front of County Hall with stalls and a bouncy castle to keep youngsters entertained.
Hilperton (11.02am)
In Hilperton itself, parking will be suspended on Devizes Road near the Lion and Fiddle pub and also where the road narrows where the traffic-calming measures are situated.
Spectators at Trowbridge Rugby Club should be aware there is only a narrow footpath on one side of the road.
The A361 past West Wiltshire Crematorium on Devizes Road has been identified as another vantage point but spectators are warned there are no footpaths or verges on the rest of the road heading into Seend.
Seend (11.14am)
The paths outside Seend Post Office and also verges along to the S-bend on the A361 are safe to watch from but not from that point to Seend Fork or the dual carriageway.
Caen Hill, Devizes (11.23am)
Catch the riders as they tackle Caen Hill, although parking is not allowed.
Crowds are advised to stay away from the narrow road at the Shane’s Castle junction with Dunkirk Hill and Bath Road.
In New Park Street, the race can be seen passing the Wadworth Brewery Visitor Centre, the riders having slowed to turn from Northgate Street, where there will be a beer and merchandise stand.
Nursteed Road has footpaths on both sides.
Spectators should also stay away from the narrow road near the old Clock Inn but past that point there are verges to watch the race in the open countryside. However, drivers are warned parking is limited on byways. Outside the Wiltshire Yeoman Pub is another spot to get a good view.
Rushall (11.44am)
People in Rushall can watch from verges on the A345 Pewsey Road and on the paths as the route comes into the village. Anyone travelling to the village is warned parking is limited.
Pewsey (11.52am)
Both sides of the road leading into Pewsey are good for spectating but parking will be suspended on River Street near the Church Street junction. Parking is available at Bouverie Hall and Broomcroft Road with access to River Street and High Street.
Space is expected to be limited in Pewsey High Street but there is a footway on both sides of the road for most of its length. The narrow section of Burbage Road is another spot not recommended for spectators.
B3087and A338 Easton Royal (noon)
As the race heads out of Wiltshire, the side of the B3087 leading onto the A338 at Easton Royal is not recommended for viewing because of steep verges.
Other places to park include Milton Lilbourne Village Hall near East Grafton Village Hall.
Hungerford (12.24pm)
The A338 near the county boundary at Hungerford has wide verges and the chipping dump area at Shalbourne could also be available for parking if empty.
Parking is available on Burbage High Street, with viewing available on the A338 roundabout approaches.
