Police in Malmesbury are warning people to be on their guard after two men were found in a shed near the Corston area of Malmesbury yesterday.
The householder came home at about 9.15pm to find the pair in his shed.
One is described as wearing a pink top and a baseball cap.
They drove off towards Corston in a white van, possibly an Vauxhall Insignia.
PC Michael Tripp, community beat manager for Malmesbury, using the new Wiltshire and Swindon Community Messaging Service, said: "If anyone noticed this van in their area or any males matching the description please can you contact Wiltshire Police on 101.
"It is clear that we still have people visiting the area to target sheds and outbuildings so please keep vigilant and secure your property the best you can."
