Cyclist challenges ‘Big Wheels’ to help Age UK charity
A Calne cyclist hopes to inspire others as he tackles the short route of the Wiltshire Big Wheel Bike Ride for Age UK Wiltshire on September 7.
Steve Funnell, 60, wants his experience to encourage others to set themselves personal challenges and do something to help the charity.
Mr Funnell, a security guard, is raising money with a 45-mile ride starting and ending in Devizes.
He said: “I’m by no means a professional cyclist, but I enjoy it immensely and I felt it was a good way to regain a good level of fitness.”
