Light Operatic Society show raises £735 for Royal British Legion
Wootton Bassett Light Operatic Society has handed £735 to Royal British Legion representatives after its fundraising First World War commemorative concert.
Legion branch president Bryan Kingscote thanked the society for staging the show – WBLOS Remembers – and paid tribute to the Memorial Hall committee, which allowed free use of the hall as its contribution.
“We are all very grateful,” said Mr Kingscote.
