Action on fire please
Not wishing to come across as a moaner, I smelt the burning smell which I have in the past associated with Grist’s recycling facility off Nursteed Road in Downland Road again today. I see I was not alone; it’s an active topic on FB Devizes Debate.
Why has the Environment Agency been fairly swift to take action over the recycling site fire at Swindon yet this one in Devizes has been smouldering away since the start of the year.?
This situation is just not acceptable and a prosecution should have been brought by Wiltshire Council. How about some action please?
