Selwood Housing has donated £2,000 to the Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust to help with community activities.
The organisation, which was founded in 1998, works to reduce crime and protect the elderly, vulnerable and disadvantaged.
The trust runs three vans which travel around Wiltshire and make safety improvements to properties.
Jennie Shaw, trust director, said: “The donation from Selwood Housing will help us to continue helping their tenants and to give them peace of mind in their homes”
Selwood is a not for profit housing organisation which provides 5,700 properties to rent. The Bobby Van Trust has services some of Selwood’s properties.
Barry Hughes, Selwood Housing’s chief executive, said: “It is really important to us that our tenants and the wider community feel safe in their homes and this is one way we can help to ensure that they are.”
