Students, parents and staff are celebrating the best ever results at Bradon Forest School, Purton, with 62% of students achieving the Government’s ‘gold standard’ of five A*-C including English and mathematics.
There were several notable individual achievements with 21 students gaining eight or more A-A* grades.
Bradon Forest’s record results build on a positive Ofsted report in May which highlighted the 'substantial improvements' that have been implemented by a new leadership team during the last twelve months.
Headteacher Andrew Morrison said: “These results represent the culmination of a huge amount of hard work from students and staff supported by parents and carers.
It is great to see our students being so successful. As we move forward at Bradon Forest I look forward to seeing more records broken in years to come.”
