Lavington School had its best ever GCSEs results with 85 per cent of students achieving five or more A*-C grades, not including English and maths, up two per cent on last year.
And 74 per cent of students achieved five or more A*-C grades including English and maths, the previous best was 71 per cent four years ago. Last year the figure was 63 per cent.
Of the 132 students who took GCSEs this year 18 per cent got ten or more A# and A grades.
