Residents looking to enter the job market have received a boost through a new website from Wiltshire Council.

Work Wiltshire is designed to help over 16s who are looking for work, starting a new job, developing their careers or facing the challenge of losing their job.

The website aims to develop skills by providing a comprehensive guide to opportunities and support available across the county.

The website was developed using funds from Wiltshire Council’s Action for Wiltshire Programme as well as the EU’s INTERREG IVA Channel Programme.

Council leader Jane Scott said: “Supporting the local economy and doing all that we can to create and safeguard jobs is a key priority for the council.”
