Youngsters in Devizes banished boredom during the summer holidays by learning song and dance.
Seventeen children aged between seven and 14 took part in the week-long workshop, run by Bright Lights Drama, at Nursteed Community Primary School which culminated in a performance at West Lavington village hall.
They learned Olivia by Malcolm Sircom, known as the female Oliver.
The show is set in Victorian times and traces the steps of Olivia from downtrodden orphan to star of the stage.
Other characters include Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady, Fagin and The Artful Dodger.
Becky Luzi, who runs Bright Lights Drama, said: “The kids have been fantastic, the older ones helped out with the younger ones, and we had the most brilliant week. They have worked their socks off.”
