A famous faces scarecrow trail in Box is proving popular this summer with characters like Spiderman and Florence Nightingale to be found.
Sandra Callaway, steward at the Box Methodist church, came up the idea and alongside her husband spent hours perfecting the 15 scarecrows spread around the village.
Mrs Callaway said: “The church always needs the money and we like to do something different to keep the kids amused for the summer holidays.
“It has just snowballed and become very popular – I’ve been told I’m entertaining people from 4 to 81.”
A map of the trail can be bought at the Stock Press paper shop with proceeds going towards the Box Methodist Church.
The trail is on until September 4 when a winner will be announced in the prize draw.
