The funeral of campsite manager Sam Walden, who died in a motorcycle accident in Belgium, is to be held at the West Wiltshire Crematorium, Semington, on Friday, August 29, at 3.15pm.
His family said all his friends will be welcome and they want to make the service a celebration of his life. They asked for donations to Wiltshire Air Ambulance instead of flowers.
Mr Walden, 29, of Blackland Lake Campsite, near Calne, died on August 6 as he rode to a motorcycle track day.
His brother Joe said: “We have chosen Wiltshire Air Ambulance for donations because we know they are struggling financially to keep helicopters in the air and we are lucky enough to live in a county where we have this service, which saves hundreds of lives. As a business we have helped them in the past through fundraising.”
Mr Walden was manager of a campsite that was started by his parents Barbara and John Walden in the 1980s.
