Work on the new outdoor Devizes skate park at the sports pitches at Green Lane is under way.
It is expected to take 11 weeks and should be open for the autumn half term.
The cost is £148,000, with an extra £14,925 being spent to lessen noise, mostly covered by developer contributions.
