Polish tribute at war service
THE annual RAF service of the Yatesbury Association will be at All Saints Church in Yatesbury on Sunday at 10.30am.
Two representatives from the Polish Embassy will be attending on behalf of the Polish Ambassador.
They will lay a wreath in memory of the Polish airmen who lost their lives during the Second World War and were buried in the Yatesbury churchyard.
To coincide with the service, the Yatesbury History Group will be staging a First World War commemorative photographic display in the village hall on Saturday, from 2pm to 5pm, and again on Sunday, from 11am.
