Lydeway garage to make way for homes
WILTSHIRE Council has granted outline permission for Lydeway Garage to be demolished and for four houses to be built on the site.
The garage site, on the A342 Andover Road, used to be a petrol station and car repair workshop but it was sold and is currently divided between two owners, Andrew Spearey, the owner of Track Tractors at the rear, and Shaun Church, who runs the car sales business at the front.
Mr Spearey is due to retire soon and Mr Church is seeking to relocate his car sales business closer to his home in Lambourn.
