Yet again this week your [Salisbury Reds] bus service the X5 let everyone down.
On Friday, the service to arrive in Pewsey at 12.30pm arrives at 12.45, the driver off loads all the existing passengers and tells them and the passengers waiting to board that he has gone over his hours and the service is terminated...
All the passengers are told another bus will be along... in an hour!
My daughter had an appointment for the dentist in Marlborough which she missed and I know expects a charge for.
How many other people had appointments, meetings, etc?
Redress to the bus company... ZERO, responsibility... ZERO How often do we listen to local authorities, etc, [telling us] people should use public transport....
How much public subsidy do you take for these appalling services, how expensive are these unreliable services, how much redress do the public have? ZERO.
A short while ago a poor young chap with learning difficulties was told again in Pewsey that the X5 was terminated and that he should ”walk” to Oare, it’s only two miles away, disgraceful... again redress... ZERO.
When will your company take some responsibility for their service...PUBLIC... joke!
