A new multi skills project by charity Splash was a great success at Salisbury Rugby Club last week as young people learnt about sports, nutrition and rugby values.
As well as games based around tag rugby they also learnt about teamwork, respect, discipline and sportsmanship, before being presented with medals and certificates.
The pilot scheme by Splash, which supports young people who are facing challenges in life, has led to several attendees wanting to join the club in September.
Mel Bradley, fundraiser at Splash, said: “This was a new project for us and was a pilot for a wider Wiltshire rugby programme for next year.”
