PUPILS at Pewsey Primary School were rewarded for their good behaviour over the academic year with a fun day in the last week of term.
The Smart Mark day recognised the 96 per cent of children who had retained more than 175 of their 190 marks awarded in school for attendance and good behaviour. In past years the school has arranged day trips but this year it held a day of activity on the school grounds.
There was a climbing wall, an ‘it’s a knock-out’ competition, bug hunting, circus workshops and crafts.
Children also enjoyed a visit from Bugglepuff author Charlotte Bennett.
Headteacher Mrs Gilbert said: “Although some children were not able to take part as they didn’t reach the 175 marks required, we decided that everyone should get to enjoy the final circus performance.”
