Kate Maher, of Lyneham, and Heidi Schwenk, of Kington St Michael, have earned First Class degrees.
The 21-year-olds are graduating from the University of Worcester.
Miss Maher, who attended Royal Wootton Bassett Academy, said she had chosen to study counselling psychology after seeing regular military repatriations in the town and people returning from foreign conflicts with mental scars.
She said: “I still can’t quite believe I got a First. I’m extremely proud of myself as it took a lot of hard work, especially during my final year.”
Miss Schwenk, a former pupil of Hardenhuish School in Chippenham, studied outdoor adventure leadership and management and is putting it into practice running Outward Bound expeditions in Hong Kong.
She said: “Working somewhere like this is the reason I went to university, so there is no better job for me at this point in time.”
