The toe-tapping musical Grease will be shown at The Forever Friends Appeal’s Movie by Moonlight in Bath this month, with hundreds of people expected to dress the part.
The annual event is on Middle Common Royal Victoria Park on August 31 at 8.30pm. Entry is free but there will be a collection for the Royal United Hospital’s Cancer Care Campaign.
Emily Lynch, events and community officer for the appeal, said: “We are adding an extra special fancy dress element this year and are very excited to be working in partnership with Bath Theatrical Costume Hire, Frome, who will be dressing staff in Grease-inspired outfits.
“There will also be a prize for the best dressed boy and girl.”
Last year, the screening of Dirty Dancing raised more than £6,000 for the Cancer Care Campaign, which is the current focus of The Forever Friends Appeal.
