Young beautician Megan Bowyer has embarked on a new business venture taking over Marlborough shop Beauty-Fulltime.
The 26-year-old year-old of Eastcott has taken over the beauty store in the High Street from Kerry Chambers who had the shop for 13 years.
Miss Bowyer worked part-time at the shop for seven years while she was studying sports therapy at Bath University and was working as a beautician in Swindon.
She has been supported by her parents Martin and Sally Bowyer, who own MB Joinery in Chirton, who have helped fund the takeover.
With the help of her family and a four-strong team, Miss Bowyer spent three days giving the store a facelift before reopening.
She said: “This is a huge commitment running this shop, you are here every day and it’s unsociable hours but I don’t think there’s much not to like really.
“What girl doesn’t love fragrance and makeup and skincare and it’s all discounted as well so you can get premium products at a discount so it’s amazing.”
