St Barnabas Primary School in Market Lavington was buzzing with Big Friendly Giants, Oompa-Loompas, Twits and other characters created by author Roald Dahl.
The children paid £1 to dress up as a Dahl character to raise money for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, which helps seriously ill children.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has been the whole school topic this term and adorning the school’s walls are Roald Dahl characters.
Members of Rabbit and Squirrel class have created sweet shops on a chocolate theme while Otter and Fox class have been exploring the author’s stories and have been creating their own non-fictional book about Roald Dahl.
