COLES John Ewart (16th October 1935 12th April 2023) John Ewart Coles passed away peacefully at home in Marlborough on Wednesday 12th April, aged 87. This was after a long period of illness, throughout which time he was surrounded by the love and care of his close family and friends. He was the beloved partner of Freda (whom he met in 1991), devoted father to Paul and Louise, father-in-law to Paul's partner, Debbie and Louise's husband, Nick and proud grandfather of Adam and Thomas Coles. His much-loved family members also include Freda's daughter Amanda, her husband, Andrew and their children, Harriet, Elliot and Oliver. John will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the Marlborough community which he so loved. You are invited to pay your respects at his Committal Service at 2pm on Thursday 27th April, North Wiltshire Crematorium, Swindon Road, Royal Wootton Bassett SN4 8ET. Refreshments will be available afterwards at Pino's Restaurant, The Parade, Marlborough SN8 1AH. Smart dress (with a hint of blue - for Chelsea FC) is required. Family flowers only.
