COLE David Richard On 3rd July suddenly at home, aged 66 years. Beloved Husband of Marian and Father of Richard and Jennifer. A private funeral service will take place. Any donations in memory of David will be for the benefit of the Canal Trust.

I am so very sad to hear this tragic news. Dave was such a joy to work with and was so resourceful and helpful! Always smiling, no job ever seemed too much! I will never forget the precious time I spent with this lovely friendly and kind man. My heartfelt sympathies and condolences to his family and friends.RIP x

I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. Dave worked with me at the forest school at The Canal River Trust and we had a great time delivering a range of activities to the children. He was always so helpful kind and a great support to us.
I will never forget his galant efforts during the foul weather early this year. Dave put up tarps to keep the group dry and kept the kelly kettles going! He kept on smiling!
You will be greatly missed Dave.
