TOBIN Robert 'Bob' Died peacefully on Saturday 28th March 2020. With love from his wife Jean, Jacki, Helen and Steve x A celebration of his life will be organised in the future.

Hello,
Just wanted to say that I am so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of chatting with Bob, usually in front of some late night golf show on a B&W telly.
The startling warmth of welcome & kindness both he & Jean showed us, a group of teenage herberts, returning with Jacki from the pub, has always stuck with me.
Obviously, I didn't know Bob for very long, but I can say his non-judgmental and positive approach was remembered and to the fore in the upbringing of my own kids and our relationship with their friends.
Your family was one the nicest I knew back then, strong and happy, and I'm sure that will help you all in this difficult time.
If there is a chance of attending the celebration of Bob's life, please forward details when convenient.
