Shakespeare Live chose to take the audience on a journey through the seasons, with extracts from plays, sonnets and songs, encompassing every aspect of the English weather, for their summer show at the Dell, the Royal Shakespeare Company’s outdoor theatre in Stratford upon Avon, where they gave two well-attended performances for a third consecutive year in August.
The show followed their successful production of Macbeth, their 26th annual outdoor production, to large and enthusiastic audiences at Lackham House. Now local audiences get a chance to see the Rain in all its glory, with two shows on consecutive nights at The Pound in Corsham and Marshfield church hall.
