Calne: H.R Williamson Transport Limited of 5 Roundway Rise, Calne is applying for a licence to use Mill Farm, Blacklands as the operating centre for two goods vehicles and two trailers.
Chippenham: Mike Logut trading as Mobius Technology of Unit 3, Rowan House, Sheldon Business Park is applying for a licence to use the address as the operating centre for one good vehicle.
Bremhill: The secretary of state has given notice for a Stopping up of Highways (south west) Order. This will mean that the triangular shaped area of highway verge to the west of Wick Bridge Farm will be closed to traffic. This is to allow for the development of two houses on the former agricultural land site.
Chippenham: William Edward Snell is applying for a Premises Licence for Coq Restaurant, 20 Timber St has applied for an alcohol licence. If granted, the restaurant will be about to sell alcohol for consumption on site from Noon until 10pm Sunday to Thursday and noon until midnight Friday and Saturday.
Melksham: Ian Cundick and Alice Cundick trading as Magic Waste Solutions of 26 fences Lane, Corsham are applying for a licence to use Boundary Farm, 620 Berryfield Lane in Melksham as the operating centre for three goods vehicles.
Bradford on Avon: Wiltshire Council has given notice that Footpath 24 (South Wraxall) from its junction with Footpath 8A for 600 meters heading north will be closed.
This is to enable construction of four new holes for a golf course.
An alternative route will be provided around the field edges to the east and the closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This order was originally due to come to a close on June 28, however, it has now been extended until December 28 or until the work is completed – whichever comes first.
Marlborough: Wiltshire Council has given notice for the temporary suspension of parking on Marlborough High Street.
The suspension will be in effect Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm -- one hour, no return within two hours and the temporary replacement with “no waiting at any time” signs along the following lengths of the High Street: From the northern boundary with nos. 84/85 (Bow Belles) for a distance of approximately 10 metres in a southerly direction. Similarly, a temporary suspension of parking Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm -- 30 minutes, no return within 2 hours and temporary replacement with “no waiting at any time” on the following lengths of the High Street: A4 High Street, Marlborough (South Side); From its northern boundary with no.42 for a distance of approximately 32 metres in a southerly direction.
A spokesman for the council said; “The restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs and road markings.
“This notice which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on July 2, 2021 and it will be required until August 19, 2021.
Bradford on Avon: Plans have been submitted for a change of use on 24 Bridge Street. The applicants, Alan and Saisune Pettitt have put in a bid with Wiltshire Council to change the use of the Buddhist Temple into a dwelling which will include both internal and external works.
