READERS will hopefully already be aware that tomorrow sees the start of the fourth annual Trowbridge Arts Festival.
Once again we have a fortnight of excellent programming covering a wide range of arts and heritage events.
This includes a rare opportunity for everyone aged ten or older to climb the bell tower of St James’ church and ring some of the church’s 12 bells.
This event runs from 2pm till 4pm on Saturday, and is free of charge with no need to book.
Our headline performer this year is Toyah, who will be appearing at the Civic Centre on Sunday, November 1.
Musical icon of the 80s and star of screen, TV and stage, Toyah will be playing acoustic versions of her hits, discussing her life story, and meeting and greeting after the show.
All tickets have been kept to a bargain festival price.
To purchase tickets or to view full details of events visit www.trowbridgeartsfestival.co.uk.
Tickets are also available in person at Trowbridge Town Hall and the Civic Centre TIC.
We hope you have a wonderful festival fortnight in our beautiful and historic county town.
