JCB destroyed in fire
THOUSANDS of pounds of damage has been caused after a JCB digger was destroyed in a fire.
The heavy duty machinery was discovered to be burning on the B4192 near Aldbourne at 1pm this afternoon.
By the time fire crews got to the scene the digger was already burning and it has since been confirmed that the digger was totally destroyed in the fire.
Emergency services worked to stop the fire from spreading to nearby buildings, however the cause of the fire is not yet known.
