A MAN's body has been found in the River Avon at Melksham.
The discovery at 10.30pm last night was made following reports a man had gone into the water at Challymead Bridge.
Wiltshire Police said: "Our enquiries are at a very early stage but there is nothing to suggest there are any suspicious circumstances."
